Are you looking to work in a Special Educational Needs School as a Teaching Assistant?

Then we want to hear from you!

A Special Educational Needs school in Chobam are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with boys 9-16 years old with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. The core aim of the school is to enhance literacy, communication and listening skills of its pupils. The role requires a teaching assistant to asset pupils 1:1 with literacy development.

The ideal candidate will display exceptional communication skills, and show patients and understanding of Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding role, yet challenging. Candidates need to have a calm manner in stressful situations.

Experience working with pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties would be desirable, however not essential if you are a patient individual with a passion to work with children.
