I am recruiting for Teaching Assistants, Creative Writing Graduates or Qualified Teachers who are interested in delivering Literacy Interventions.
There are a number of my client schools, based in Wirral who are looking to implement one to one or small group intervention sessions. The main purpose is to raise pupil’s attainment and in turn improve self-morale, confidence and communication.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction to identified students in the classroom or intervention room, in small group or one-on-one as needed to help students meet IEP goals. Allot time with each student based on IEP’s Specifically Defined Services and learning goals. Make recommendations to teachers on ways to best meet the needs of students and proactively communicate with other staff if students are not making the expected progress.
Creative Writing Graduates are encouraged to apply as the client schools have expressed that some of their pupils struggle with the imaginative writing and this is an area of focus right the way through the school.
