A friendly and happy primary school in the Radcliffe, Bury (M26) area is looking for a nurturing and pro-active teaching assistant who can provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism and learning difficulties. The pupil is currently in the Year 3 class but is working at a reception level. The Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant with previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs to provide emotional and academic support in the class room and in intervention rooms.
As a 1:1 teaching assistant, you will be supporting the teacher by ensuring the pupil fully understands the instructions of the work and is able to access the curriculum at a suitable level. This will be a hugely rewarding role supporting a happy pupil who needs support within the class room.
