SEND Learning Support Assistant (Primary & Secondary)
Learning Support Assistant – SEND Schools
Southampton
£14.30 per hour
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Southampton that support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
These schools cater for children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, communication needs and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
-
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
-
Helping students access the curriculum
-
Supporting emotional regulation and social development
-
Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals
Requirements
-
Previous experience working with children or young people
-
This could include education, youth work, care work, medical settings, Camp America, sports coaching or similar roles
-
Availability at least 4 days per week
-
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
