Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN primary school in the Southampton area.

The school supports children with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils both 1:1 and in small groups. You will help children engage with their learning, develop their confidence and independence, manage emotional and behavioural challenges, and build positive relationships.

This is a rewarding role where every day is different, and your patience, consistency and positive approach can have a genuine impact on a child's development.

Previous experience within SEN, SEMH, education, care, youth work or support work is highly desirable. However, candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
