SEN Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs Schools)
SEN Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs School
Southampton
£14.30 per hour
Teaching Personnel are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist schools in Southampton.
These schools support students with EHCPs and complex needs, including pupils with autism, communication needs and complex medical needs.
The Role
-
Supporting pupils with daily learning and communication
-
Assisting with personal care when required
-
Supporting sensory and therapeutic activities
-
Helping create a calm and supportive learning environment
Ideal experience
We welcome applicants with backgrounds such as:

SEN education

Care or support work

Health or medical support roles

Camp America or youth work

Nursery or childcare roles
Requirements

Minimum 4 days availability per week
-
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

A caring, patient and reliable attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
