£14.30 per hour

Teaching Personnel are looking for flexible Learning Support Assistants to provide ad-hoc supply cover across a variety of primary, secondary and SEND schools in Southampton.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety and flexibility while gaining experience in different school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Working with small groups or individual students

  • Assisting teachers during lessons

  • Supporting positive behaviour and engagement

Experience required

Applicants must have experience working with children or young people, such as:

  • Schools or education roles

  • Camp America

  • Youth work

  • Care work

  • Health or medical settings

  • Sports coaching

Requirements

  • Minimum availability of 4 days per week

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

Schools are located across Southampton with good transport links, making travel accessible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
