Teaching Personnel have a long-standing relationship with a SEN School in Salisbury, who cater for boys and girls with special needs such as Autism (ASC) and Complex Learning Needs. Some of the students also have additional needs such as physical disabilities and speech and language impairments.
A special educational needs (SEN) learning support assistant (LSA) supports pupils with physical, behavioural and learning difficulties with the supervision of the classroom teachers. This can be supporting a small group of pupils or on a 1:1 basis.
The responsibilities of an LSA typically involve helping the pupils’ understand instructions and school work using techniques that work for them. You will be encouraging pupils’ confidence and independence whilst providing feedback to teachers.
This role can be challenging, however it is extremely rewarding for anyone who wants to help disadvantaged children thrive in their education.

Due to expansion, the school have opportunity for temporary and permanent employment. We are looking for applicants who can work Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:30, term time only. If you can work anywhere between 2-4 days a week, 08:30 – 15:30, we would also love to hear from you.
We are able to consider applicants who can start ASAP or in September 2024.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
