An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated individual to join one of our inclusive primary schools in Hedge End as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting children to reach their full potential.

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

• A reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude to helping every child succeed
• A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional or special educational needs
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire every child to succeed
• Help prepare classroom materials and create a positive, stimulating learning environment
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in all learners
• Play an active role in a caring school community where every child feels valued and supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
