Learning Support Assistant in Brent

A lovely school located in Brent is currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

The role will involve supporting children with learning difficulties on both a 1:1 and small group basis. This will include delivering work focussing on Numeracy, Literacy, Social Skills and Communication, set by the class Teacher.

The school benefits from close transport links allowing children to experience out-of-the-classroom learning from places such as: Natural History Museum, Science Museum, ZSL Zoo and many more learning opportunities across London. There will also be an opportunity to part-take in extra-curricular activities in Sports, Music and more!

Shortlisting criteria include:

• Experience working with ASC and/or other SEN
• Ability to use PECS, Makaton or BSL is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to be involved with extra-curricular activities
• Passion for helping raise pupil attainment
