Learning Mentor - immediate start- Manchester

Job description

A Specialist ASC Provision based in Manchester are currently seeking a Learning Mentor. The successful Learning Mentor will be involved in planning and delivering interventions that will promote and encourage the development of pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour.

The Setting is a Specialist Provision which caters solely for pupils with ASC, so ideally the Head Teacher is seeking Learning Mentors who have and can display a real passion for supporting pupils with ASC. Ideally the Learning Mentor will have direct experience working within a School, however those who have significant personal experience could also be considered for the role.

This position would be ideal for individuals who are recent graduates who are looking for an opportunity to build up their experience.

- Earn up to £300 per week dependent on experience

- Gain specialist experience within a Special School

- Support pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour in reaching their full potential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
