Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' Primary School in Middlesex, TW12, who are on the lookout for a KS2 Class Teacher to start immediately covering maternity leave in Year 3.
Our client school is part of a Federation since 2014, comprising of two Primary Schools with one Governing Body. The school is a large and over-subscribed three form entry junior school with 360 pupils on roll. Located on the outskirts of Bushy Park and a short walk from Fulwell and Teddington train station, the Junior school is ideally positioned for easy travel and outdoor learning opportunities.
The Role
- To be responsible for the care and well-being of all pupils in their supervision.
- To take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing appropriate work programmes for all children in the designated class or group within the framework of national and school policies.
- To use assessment effectively for planning and tracking pupil progress and report on pupil's progress to senior staff and to parents and carers, in accordance with school policy.
- To effectively manage additional adults within the classroom.
Candidate Specifications
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Evidence of recent and continuing professional development relevant to the post.
- A proven track record of raising attainment.
- Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of effective curriculum planning, assessment and record-keeping.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
