Job description

Supply Teacher (SEN & EYFS) – Summer Term Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and confident Supply Teacher to join our team for the summer term, with strong expertise in SEN and a solid understanding of EYFS practice.

About the Role

You will take the lead in our SEND provision, supporting approximately 7 children with a range of additional needs, alongside 3 SSAs. This role requires someone who can create a structured, nurturing environment while confidently managing a small team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering a tailored timetable for the SEND provision

  • Leading and implementing targeted interventions

  • Working collaboratively with SSAs to support individual learning needs

  • Providing additional support within the EYFS classroom when required

  • Bringing strong behaviour management, flexibility, and a child-centred approach

Who We’re Looking For

A teacher who:

  • Has strong SEN experience, ideally across a range of needs

  • Is confident planning and leading small-group provision

  • Has experience within EYFS or early childhood settings

  • Can adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and work as part of a supportive team

  • Brings warmth, resilience, and a passion for inclusive education

  • Summer term placement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
