Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants across the East Riding to work with our client schools. Those who apply will be able to work in local schools and assist the school with day to day emergency cover when this is required. There will also be the opportunity to work longer term assignments as they arise.

Our client schools require those who apply to hold at least a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification and have relevant and recent experience. You should be able to support Key Stage 1 pupils with all aspects of the curriculum and have evidence to support this.

To be a candidate of choice you will:

  • Have good working knowledge of the curriculum and be able to successfully support KS1 pupils
  • Hold high expectations in your work and behaviour and present yourself in a professional manner
  • Be able to demonstrate good, personal academic abilities
  • Be reflective in your practices and take on feedback and advise
  • Have experience of working in schools in either a voluntary or paid capacity

In return, we offer:

  • Excellent and competitive rates of pay, which is paid directly to you on a weekly basis
  • Opportunities to develop your skill set with our CPD Academy. Teaching Personnel offer free and subsidised professional development courses
  • 'myTP'. A digital portal which makes your work admin and communications simple.
  • Safe Work Practices. Teaching Personnel ensure that we protect your reputation in the work place.
  • Excellent in Education Awards, which recognises the positive impact you deliver in schools

It would be desirable if those who apply had knowledge and experience of working with SEN pupils and be Team Teach trained, however, this is not essential to the role. Holding a Full, Clean Driving Licence would be beneficial.
