Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large school in the S74 postcode of Barnsley, the school at present is looking for KS1 Teaching Assistant to become a member of their support staff team.
The post initially is starting after half term up until Easter with the potential for the length of the role to be extended for the right Teaching Assistant.
The school has a very supportive SLT team and are both focused and driven in aiding the development both educationally and socially for all of their students.
The ideal Teacher Assistant should:
-be familiar with the curriculum and have experience supporting children of KS1
-have excellent overall behaviour management skills
-a knowledge and understanding of the deliverance of phonics
-confident in supporting with children with additional needs

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
