Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant from September 2020 for a fantastic and inclusive school in the Ashford area.
Your new school
A Primary School in the Ashford area are currently seeking to employ a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.
Your new role
You will support the class teacher in Year 4, supporting them with general classroom duties. You will ensure that pupils have all necessary resources for their tasks and activities. You will work with pupils of lower ability within the class, you will focus on key areas such as Literacy and Numeracy. You will work with pupils on a group and 1:1 basis. You will take guided reading sessions with pupils, taking groups out of the class on a weekly basis. You will observe all progress and report back to the class teacher, identifying areas of development and areas that require further development.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within the last two years You must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification at a minimum. You must be confident supporting pupils with mixed abilities. You must be flexible, reliable and adaptable within your role. You must have a genuine passion for the education and welfare of your pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
