Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

This forward thinking and innovative school are seeking a hard-working and imaginative Learning Support Assistant to deliver Interventions to small groups of students and individuals. Situated minutes from Chatham train station this allows great access to transport links from all corners of Kent.

The role will involve working with small groups and individuals focusing on core subjects, you will work alongside the class teachers mainly with students in Year 1 and Year 2.

Your New Role

• Support the pupils academically across various subjects (specifically Maths and English)

• Provide extra assistants to pupils with Special Education Needs

• 1:1 support for students requiring extra language and academic support

• You will need a minimum of 1 years' experience working in a Primary School Setting

Additional Information

• The hours will be from 8:30 to 3.30

• You will be paid a competitive rate of GBP60 - GBP70 per day

• September start (Depending on the current closures)
