KS1 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working with a Primary School in Northampton, who require a KS1 teacher to start on a full time basis from September. The school are looking for an experienced and proactive teacher to work within their year 1 and 2 class. The role is general class based teaching, and the successful applicant must be comfortable working with both lower and higher ability groups.

The school are currently going through a development stage, where it is essential that the successful applicant has a passion to raise expectations across the class as to how hard pupils should work, and how well they should behave. Therefore the school require an experienced classroom practitioner to work closely with the school to achieve these desired aims for their pupils.

The role;

-          KS1 teacher

-          January Start or Sooner

-          Full time, on a temp to perm basis

-          GBP130 to GBP160 depending on experience

Essential qualifications and traits;

-          Strong Classroom Management Skills

-          Flexible and adaptable approach to work

-          Innovative and resourceful teaching methods

-          Experienced Teacher

Desired traits;  

-          Are confident and are able to make professional and friendly working relationships with the pupils, their families and staff

-          Has high interpersonal skills

-          Be organised, patient and confident

-          Be able to use effective communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
