Humanities Teacher

The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4 within a supportive Humanities department that values collaboration, creativity and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum.
• Inspire pupils through creative teaching and effective classroom management.
• Use assessment to monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Promote the school’s values of respect, inclusion and high aspiration.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree in a Humanities subject.
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, reflective and committed approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
