Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our thriving secondary school from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for the world around them
  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
  • Support the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and trips

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have a strong subject knowledge of Geography
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Be committed to raising achievement and fostering a love of learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
