About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join our dynamic humanities department in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can bring the subject to life and inspire students to explore the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential).
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge pupils.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and department initiatives.
- Participate in school activities, fieldwork, and wider extracurricular opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Eagerness to contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
