About the Role
We are seeking two enthusiastic, dedicated, and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Preston. There are full-time positions starting as soon as possible, ideal for teachers passionate about inspiring young people across History & Geography.
You will join a supportive Humanities department committed to delivering high-quality teaching, raising attainment, and fostering a love of learning across Key Stages 3,4 & 5.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Humanities curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess to ensure progress for all students
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment
- Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school-wide initiatives
- Support pupils’ personal development and uphold the school’s values and behaviour expectations

- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities disciplines
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and motivating young people
