Humanities Teacher – Full Time (ASAP Start)

Location: Preston
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking two enthusiastic, dedicated, and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Preston. There are full-time positions starting as soon as possible, ideal for teachers passionate about inspiring young people across History & Geography.

You will join a supportive Humanities department committed to delivering high-quality teaching, raising attainment, and fostering a love of learning across Key Stages 3,4 & 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Humanities curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and assess to ensure progress for all students
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment
  • Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school-wide initiatives
  • Support pupils’ personal development and uphold the school’s values and behaviour expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities disciplines
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and motivating young people
