Female PE Teacher

Location: Leyland

Rate of Pay: From £170 per day

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: September 2026

 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Leyland to recruit a motivated and confident PE Teacher to join the department from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Physical Education in a supportive school environment, helping students develop strong reading, writing and communication skills while fostering a love for language and literature.

 

About the Role

-          Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3–5

-          Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity

-          Plan, prepare, and assess students in line with curriculum requirements

-          Support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and school events

-          Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing across the school community

What we are looking for:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

-          Specialism in Physical Education

-          Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

-          Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

-          Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

-          Strong organisational and communication skills

-          Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
