Humanities Teacher

This school is an oversubscribed secondary school situated in Andover are looking to recruit a humanities teacher to join their growing faculty. This is a full time permanent role suitable for experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession and will be paid to your scale point (MPS/UPS). 

This role is suitable for teachers who are able to teach one of the following and experience of others would be advantageous:

• History
• Geography
• RE
• Sociology
• Psychology

The school have a large department with humanities subjects being extremely popular subjects at GCSE with many pupils excited to select it as an option in KS4 as well as continuing to study after school. Last years results showed an improvement on the prior years, as well as being well above both county and country averages.

The role is suitable for teachers who are looking to take on more responsibility within the department as well as the wider school and TLR will be offered for this.
