Job Opportunity: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Trafford Primary Schools

Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £90 - £110 a day
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact in primary education? Trafford’s vibrant and inclusive primary schools are seeking dedicated professionals to support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

About the Role:

As a HLTA, you will:

• Deliver planned lessons and interventions across a range of subjects.
• Support pupils with varying needs to achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with teachers to raise attainment and engagement.
• Lead small group sessions and occasionally cover whole classes.
• Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral care.

What We’re Looking For:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
