L2 TA

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly Key Stage 2 team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will cover planned staff absences and support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences, helping pupils to reach their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across KS2, including small-group and 1:1 interventions.

• Assist in preparing and organising learning materials and resources.

• Support pupils’ emotional and social development, promoting positive behaviour.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.

About You:

• Hold a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

• Have experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2.

• Be caring, patient, and committed to helping every child succeed.

• Work well as part of a team and show initiative when needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
