TA2

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our warm and welcoming Key Stage 1 team to work across different primary schools in the Rochdale area.

About the Role:

As a TA2, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning across the KS1 curriculum.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to assessments and the monitoring of pupil progress.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Has recent experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS1.
• Understands the KS1 curriculum and child development.
• Is calm, patient, and confident in supporting pupils with a range of needs.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
