Job description
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our warm and welcoming Key Stage 1 team to work across different primary schools in the Rochdale area.

About the Role:
As a TA2, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning across the KS1 curriculum.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to assessments and the monitoring of pupil progress.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has recent experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS1.
- Understands the KS1 curriculum and child development.
- Is calm, patient, and confident in supporting pupils with a range of needs.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
