Exciting Opportunity: Level 3 Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Trafford (M32)

A welcoming primary school in Trafford is seeking a confident and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. This is a long-term role beginning in September, with the potential to move onto a permanent school contract for the right candidate.

Rated “Good” under the latest OFSTED framework, this two-form entry school offers a warm and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on staff development and pupil progress.

Role Highlights:

• General classroom support across KS2
• 2 hours per week of PPA cover – confidence in leading a full class is essential
• Supportive staff and leadership team
• Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
• Strong focus on literacy and numeracy development

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum CACHE Level 3 qualification or a relevant degree with school-based experience
• Experience working within Key Stage 2
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in Maths and English
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Enthusiastic about pupil achievement and progress
• High expectations for behaviour and learning
• Caring and nurturing approach
