Are you a qualified teacher of History looking for a new challenge in a motivating environment? Do you want to work for a school that appreciates hard working teachers and will support your personal professional development? We want to hear from you.
Teaching personnel is working with a school in the Derbyshire area who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of History for January 2018 who is able to teach from KS3-KS4.
The ideal candidate will help students to:
• Develop an interest and enthusiasm for History and its contribution to the wider political and social environment
• Practice skills, qualities and attitudes which will equip them for the challenges, opportunities and responsibilities of adult and working life
• Apply economic concepts and theories in a range of contexts and appreciate their value and limitations in explaining real world phenomena
• Be able to build a good rapport with pupils and demonstrate good behavior management.
• Have QTS with exceptional subject knowledge.
