Job description

- Inspire students of all ages and skill levels to explore the beauty and joy of music.

- Foster a love for music through engaging lessons that encompass theory, history, and performance.

- Provide individualised instruction tailored to each student's unique talents and interests.

- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where creativity and expression flourish.

- Lead ensembles, choirs, or bands to showcase students' talents and foster teamwork and collaboration.

- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and performances, equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed.

 

We're seeking candidates who possess:

A degree in Music Education or a related field.

Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal instruction.

Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and pedagogy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Previous teaching or performance experience (preferred but not required).

A dedication to fostering a lifelong appreciation for music in students of all ages.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
