Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in collaboration with a large Roman Catholic secondary school that is located within the Bolton LEA to recruit a full-time History teacher for a role starting in September 2019.

  • Full-time History teaching position required to start in September 2019
  • Temporary position in the first instance however there is a permanent contract to be earned
  • Teachers applying for this role can be expected to be paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities required for this role
  • Staff car parking available for teaching staff working at the school

This is an excellent opportunity for a History teacher to secure a role within a prestigious Roman Catholic Secondary school from September 2019. Whilst the initial employment is being advertised on a temporary basis there is an open gap within the Humanities department meaning there will be an opportunity to earn a permanent contract later in the year.

The school is a relatively small school with around 860 students on roll.
