An Ofsted 'Good' school located in Southampton has an opening of a full time Graduate Teaching Assistants across Key Stage 3 and 4. The Headteacher ideally would like a graduate who has the ambition of becoming a teacher.

Do you have a degree and previous experience working with children? Are you keen to gain experience in a mainstream secondary school working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant? Perhaps you have a long term ambition of becoming a qualified teacher and would like some additional experience?
This Secondary school is based in the heart of Southampton with a excellent academic results and a glowing reputation. The school are looking graduates who are friendly, supportive and nurturing. You'll need to be dynamic and committed as working as a full time TA as conducting certain activities and plans can often change quickly at short notice. Graduate Teaching Assistant employees will partake in a range of activities and will work closely with the class teacher to work in groups or on a 1:1 basis with the children. Working as a TA can be demanding but if you have the right attitude then the role can offer great experience for anyone looking to work in education or become a teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
