Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on the behalf of a South Liverpool Primary School. The school are seeking an English graduate to support children with a range of specific needs including ASC, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties who are falling behind with reading and writing. The successful candidate will have experience working in an educational setting with children in KS1 and be willing to enhance their career in education. The role will start in March 2019. The role will run for the remainder of the academic year with the opportunity for a school based contract for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will:

- Monitor, track and support children's learning development in Key Stage One.

- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of learning disabilities.

- Work closely with the SENCO to monitor progression.
