 Primary 1:1 Tutor – CH4, Chester

Location: CH4, Chester
Role: Primary 1:1 Tutor
️ Schedule: Monday to Friday – School Hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Are you passionate about helping primary-aged children thrive? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Primary 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised support to a young learner in the CH4, Chester area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a tutor or qualified teacher who enjoys delivering engaging, tailored lessons that build confidence and encourage a love of learning.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Delivering engaging one-to-one tuition in core primary subjects.
✔ Planning lessons that meet the pupil's individual learning needs.
✔ Supporting academic progress while developing confidence and independence.
✔ Creating a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
✔ Recording progress and providing feedback following each session.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience working with primary-aged children.
  • A teaching qualification, tutoring experience, or relevant educational background.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • The right to work in the UK.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
  • Experience delivering intervention programmes or catch-up tuition.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
