Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking an experienced HLTA, or someone working towards HLTA status, to join their supportive team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning under the guidance of a qualified teacher
- Delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, including regular PPA cover
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Working closely with teaching staff to raise pupil attainment and progress
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love of learning
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold HLTA status, are working towards HLTA status, or have equivalent experience
- Have a strong understanding of the HLTA standards
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Are passionate about creating engaging and memorable learning experiences
- Believe every child can succeed and are committed to inclusive education
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are proactive, creative, caring, and committed to continuous improvement
- Work well as part of a collaborative and supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
