Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking an experienced HLTA, or someone working towards HLTA status, to join their supportive team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning under the guidance of a qualified teacher
  • Delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, including regular PPA cover
  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Working closely with teaching staff to raise pupil attainment and progress
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love of learning

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold HLTA status, are working towards HLTA status, or have equivalent experience
  • Have a strong understanding of the HLTA standards
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are passionate about creating engaging and memorable learning experiences
  • Believe every child can succeed and are committed to inclusive education
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are proactive, creative, caring, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Work well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
