GCSE TUTOR – DE4 (MATLOCK)


Location: DE4, Matlock
Role: GCSE Tutor (1:1 Tuition)
Hours: Flexible (daytime & after-school availability)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience)


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable GCSE Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to students in the DE4 area. You will support learners who require targeted academic help to improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance across GCSE subjects.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Planning and Delivering tailored 1:1 GCSE tuition sessions
  • Supporting students with revision and exam preparation
  • Adapting lessons to individual learning needs
  • Building confidence and engagement in learning
  • Tracking progress and encouraging achievement

SUBJECTS MAY INCLUDE

  • Maths
  • English
  • Science
  • Other GCSE subjects depending on experience

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience tutoring or teaching GCSE students
  • Strong subject knowledge in relevant areas
  • Able to motivate and engage learners
  • Patient, reliable, and supportive approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

⭐ DESIRABLE

  • QTS / PGCE or equivalent qualification
  • Experience supporting SEND / SEMH learners
  • Familiarity with GCSE exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR)
