Maths and English Tutor - Matlock (DE4)

Part-Time | Weekday School Hours

Are you a passionate educator with experience teaching Maths and English? We are looking for a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to support students in the Matlock (DE4) area through personalised one-to-one tuition.

The Role

As a Maths and English Tutor, you will work with students to improve their understanding of key concepts, develop confidence in their abilities, and achieve their academic goals. Tuition will be tailored to each learner's individual needs and delivered in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality one-to-one Maths and English tuition.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Support students in developing core literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Track progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, or supporting children and young people.
  • Strong knowledge of Maths and English curriculum content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
