Job description

GCSE Tutor – DE7, Ilkeston

Location: DE7, Ilkeston
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: £25–£30 per hour+

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated GCSE Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across DE7, Ilkeston.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 GCSE tuition.

  • Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

  • Support students in English, Maths and Science.

  • Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.

  • Build confidence and encourage independent learning.

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

What We're Looking For

✔ Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.
✔ Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
SEN experience.
✔ Strong GCSE subject knowledge.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
✔ Right to work in the UK.
