1:1 SEN Tutor – Chesterfield (S42)

Location: Chesterfield, S42
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays | School Hours

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide personalised tuition to students in the Chesterfield (S42) area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping young people build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their learning goals.

Your Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each student's individual needs.
  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, and other additional needs.
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles.
  • Record student progress and provide regular feedback.

We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/education experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to a vehicle is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
