Working as a Teaching Assistant is not only rewarding, but also opens a lot of doors for your future!

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking Graduates of all subject disciplines for a number of Teaching Assistant roles we have available in Secondary schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

  • Full time/Part time roles available
  • £270-325 a week

Candidate Requirements:

  • You must have a strong academic background - a degree (any subject)
  • You will need a DBS to be able to work in the school's we work with - Teaching Personnel can provide guidance on how to apply for this during registration process
  • You do not need any school based experience. However, some experience working/volunteering with children in some capacity is desirable.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • You may work 1:1 offering support to a students Some student's may have Special Educational Needs
  • Working with small groups of students you could provide academic support such as helping with their English and Maths
  • You may undertake the role of a general Teaching Assistant and help within the classroom offering support to all pupils.
  • Some pupils may have Behavioural Difficulties and need you to act as a Behaviour Mentor.
  • There may be opportunities for you to teach your subject specialism to groups of students.
