Teaching Personnel is looking for a graduate who is looking to pursue a career in the education sector. Potentially to become a teacher in the future.

The role will be as a cover supervisor in which you will be working in various secondary schools throughout Thurrock delivering pre-set work to students in the absence of a teacher. You will need to be flexible as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability and age. The successful graduate will be covering a range of subjects and gain a full 360 well rounded experience. This is an excellent chance to get your foot in the door with many different schools and line yourself up with future teacher training.

This role would suit a confident graduate ideally has previous experience (in a voluntary capacity or otherwise) working with students perhaps in a secondary school, primary school or youth work setting or a confident individual who has experience working within a school environment. The successful applicant will be motivated and able to converse, liaise and engage with people of all ages including pupils aged 11 - 16, fellow colleagues and teachers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
