Cover Supervisors are in high demand for Secondary schools across the Stockton on Tees area, to work alongside Teaching Personnel on full and part time basis. Cover Supervisor positions are the perfect way to gain in classroom experience and build relationships with multiple schools in your area. The schools we are working alongside are looking for Cover Supervisors who will have the opportunity to teach full classes with pre set work and provide support to different departments when needed as well as gaining the experience of working with pupils across all secondary year age groups.
Responsibilities of this role will be:
- Deliver pre set work to students in full classroom settings
- Motivate and encourage pupils to remain on task and complete the set work
- Cover lessons in absence of class teacher; with no marking or planning responsibilities
Your role as a Cover Supervisor will leading pre planned lessons to students ranging from KS3-KS5. Work closely with students of all different abilities and skill sets and make sure they are engaged. This role offers the opportunity to improve classroom management skills and behaviour management strategies, as well as gaining invaluable experience within different classroom settings.
