Teaching Personnel are looking for an Geography specialist in Weymouth to join our client's already successful Humanities department on a part time basis from April 2019. Helping to further enhance the students' academic achievements.
You will be passionate about the subject, inspire our young people, and become a valued addition to our well established team. If you are looking to become part of a friendly, hardworking and supportive team, dedicated to raising standards of achievement, we wish to hear from you.
The role offered will be temporary, lasting until the end of the year but will have the possibility of being extended. You will be prepping and delivering lessons across KS3-KS4 to classes of mixed ability. They are looking to appoint a new Geography Teacher after the Easter Holiday.
Students are well behaved and the school prides it self on its inclusive and caring atmosphere. This combined with the SLT's continued commitment to the performing arts, sports and a wealth of extra-curricular activities ensures all learners are fully supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
An ideal candidate will have:
- UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Geography at a variety of levels (at least to KS4)
- A friendly and patient approach to teaching
- Good behaviour management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
