Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: M1 to UPS3 pay scale.
The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students aged 11-16. You will have the opportunity to foster a love for mathematics, helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and delivering inspiring lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop schemes of work and resources.
- Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
