Science teacher - Teacher of Science

  • Covering maternity leave from January 2017
  • 12 month position within a well managed and facilitated Science department
  • Rate of pay in line with MPS (£22,244 - £37,871)

Science teacher required at a Rochdale secondary school

Are you a Science teacher looking for a new challenge in the New Year? If so, please see the details of our client school who seek to appoint a Science teacher to cover a maternity leave within their Science department.

- Full time position from January 2017

- 12 month position within a well managed and facilitated Science department

- Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school located in central Rochdale

- Teaching both KS3 and GCSE Science

- Rate of pay in line with MPS (£22,244 - £37,871)

The head of Science is happy to consider all Science teachers, no matter what their specialism (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) with their being flexibility in the successful applicants timetable.

This is a high achieving mixed sex 11-16 secondary school who consistently continue to improve examination results. If you are a driven and motivated teacher who is dedicated to the development of their pupils, this is the perfect position for you.

This school is located in Rochdale, boarding Oldham and North Manchester and is easily accessible via the M62. The school serves a diverse catchment area and has an average number of children of ethic minority backgrounds.
