Have you recently graduated at University, looking for an exciting new opportunity this September?

Are you looking to do a PGCE in the future and want to get some invaluable teaching experience?

Teaching Personnel are looking for ambitious, confident and hard working Graduates, who is looking to gain invaluable teaching experience before undertaking a PGCE in the future. The Future Teachers Programme is designed to support graduates with gaining teaching experience, working in a number of different roles, utilising your specialist subject knowledge.

The roles you will experience on the Future Teachers Programme will be; working as a Teaching Assistant within your specialist subject area; learning how to plan and deliver lesson plans; covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher; providing interventions within your specialist area. You will receive weekly training through the secondary schools, with constructive feedback to help you grow and improve as a teacher.

Our Partners secondary school is located in the heart of Manchester, making it easy to access via public transport or if you drive. The secondary school offer the opportunity to enrol onto the school, with a teaching position after the Future Teachers Programme, if they feel you are the right candidate for them. They will offer you extensive training throughout your course, to give you the best possible opportunity to become a teacher.

The ideal Graduate for the Future Teachers Programme will;

• Have aspirations to pursue a career in teaching
• Have previous experience working with secondary school students
• Have a degree in one of the main core subjects (Maths, English or Science)
• Be able to commit to the full academic years course
• Have a hard working ethic to get the most out of the programme
