Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant 

Teaching Personnel are currently working with in close partnership with a high performing and supportive secondary school in Wigan who are looking to recruit a dedicated graduate who is looking to pursue a career in secondary teaching!

Does the sound of gaining PAID experience in the classroom prior to completing a PGCE / teacher training sound like the opportunity for you?

Key Aspects of the Future Teachers opportunity:

-          Become a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant for the academic year (Oct 2019- July 2020)

-          Term time, typically 9am -3pm

-          Paid weekly, earning GBP250 - GBP300 a week!

-          Placed in our fantastic client secondary school in Wigan (accessible from Bolton also)

-          Supporting pupils aged 11-16 with tailored learning activities to boost engagement and attainment across core subjects.

-          Opportunity to provide support in your degree / subject specialism!

-          Great opportunity to gain experience in a well structured and supportive secondary school prior to decide if secondary teaching if the career for you!

-          Previous experience working with young people in a similar capacity is very desirable, although not essential.
