  • Full time French teacher required to teach primarily up to GCSE (potential for a small selection of classes teaching A-level)

Our outstanding client secondary school is looking for a full time French teacher to teach with them on a full time basis. This will be to teach up to GCSE level in the main with possible option to teach at A-level. The Assistant Headteacher is timetabling currently and has the possibility to alter this in the favour of the appointed French teacher.

Assistant Headteacher:

"We are looking for a French teacher to start with us from Monday 17th June until Friday 12th July in the first instance. Given the nature of the vacancy, we do actually require someone until Christmas so if you are available and a suitable French teacher, then this could be the position for you. We are specifically looking for a French specialist that is good quality and able to teach up to GCSE. There are 3 periods of A-level teaching over the fortnight but this is flexible given the opportunity to timetable it in such a way. As a result of a number of maternity leaves which have taken place in the department over the past year, the students have had some upheaval and we are therefore looking for a consistent, high quality teacher who can hit the ground running".

This school is an outstanding school and is the main school of choice in the Trafford education authority. The students are educated to a high standard and are engaged with school life. The school are therefore looking for a teacher who can teach high quality lessons that engage students from KS3 to KS4.

The school is situated in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester which is very easily accessible via the M60 ring road, M56 motorway network and from the local areas of Streford, Urmston, Chorlton and South Manchester. The school is also located on the tramline making it very easy to get to for those on public transport. The school is set within very pleasant surroundings on a secure campus boasting the best facilities.

  • Duration: 17th May - 20th December 2019 ideally
  • Long term, full time French teaching position at this well regarded secondary school
