French Teacher (MFL) - Secondary school in Darlington

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a client secondary school in Darlington who are looking to appoint a MFL Teacher specialising in French for the new academic year.

The successful French Teacher will join a vibrant, inclusive and well performing secondary school in Stockport. This is a great opportunity for a French Teacher looking for an introduction into their new teaching post or first teaching post.

This is a full-time temporary position, from September to December initially, to cover a maternity leave in the MFL department.

Highlights of the French Teacher position:

  • French Teacher (QTS)
  • Secondary school in Darlington- Ofsted rated 'Good'
  • Full-time temporary role to cover a maternity (September to December initially)
  • Great introduction into your new teaching post
  • Pay to scale MPS/UPS (£23, 720 - £39, 406)
  • Able to teach French up to GCSE (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
  • Supporting with both oral and written French in order to prepare students for examinations
  • Vacancy open to both NQTs and experienced French Teachers

Applicant requirements:

  • Hold QTS specialising in French (KS3 and KS4)
  • Have a fully enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
  • Suitable teaching or placement references
  • Be experienced or confident teaching a full French timetable
  • Able to raise pupil attainment in the subject
