A fantastic Catholic mainstream school in N1, Islington are looking for a Reception teacher to join their Early Years Department in March. This lovely one form entry school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and have a strong leadership team that fully support their staff.

The curriculum is planned well across the school to ensure that pupils receive a broad and balanced curriculum while at the same time developing their literacy and numeracy skills. The teachers have very effective and well-managed interventions that make sure that low-attaining pupils make rapid progress and catch up with their peers. The school is walking distance to Highbury & Islington Underground (Victoria, Great Northern and Overground) and Essex Road station.
The school has a rich and established physical education programme in order to make sure that all the pupils participate in active learning and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The school implements 2 hours per week of Physical Education sessions where the children are encouraged to partake in activities to broaden their skills and sportsmanship.
The school holds a Sports Day once a year where the children are able to participate in and test their skills with the support of their peers, parents and teachers. The school offers Athletics, Gymnastics, dance, fielding, striking and invasion games as additional sporting activities.

Reception Teacher
Displays strong curriculum knowledge and experience teaching Reception
Start: 11/03/2019
Pay Scale: Main pay, M2-M3
Full-time, until the end of the academic year (July 2019)
The teacher will be fully supported by the staff and provided with all the necessary assistance when joining this lovely school.
