This is accredited training provided to staff groups in education, social and health service settings in behaviour supports and interventions. Team-Teach promotes a whole setting holistic approach to behaviour management.
The aim of the course is to promote the least intrusive positive handling strategies and a continuum of gradual and graded techniques, with an emphasis and preference for verbal, non-verbal de-escalation strategies being used and exhausted before positive handling strategies are utilised. This is a two-day course run on consecutive days.
